Tuesday May 20

Tuesdays race will be three loops of C and E course at Lacombe.
We have been unable to secure a safe criterium course at this time. If anybody has connections at the westerner, their parking lot would be a great spot for the future.

Race results can be found here or in forms and results.

Hi everyone.

With spring on the way and hiking, camping, climbing and paddling season just around the corner, it’s time for another Club Night at Valhalla Pure Outfitters! Club Night is an after hours event open to members of Central Alberta outdoor clubs.

Club Night is on Monday, May 12th from 7 pm to 9:30 pm. Since this year is our 15th anniversary we are offering a special 'anniversary discount' on Club night. We will be offering a 20% discount on all regular priced clothing; all other regular priced merchandise (excluding boats and GPS) will be at the usual Club night discount of 15%. Boats and GPS will qualify for your regular 10% club discount, plus we will have several 'club night only' specials.

Please note that this is a ‘club member only’ night and you may be asked to show your membership card from your club.

There is one other event taking place in May we would like to make you aware of. In celebration of our 15th anniversary we are having an 'anniversary weekend' on May 3rd and 4th. There will be birthday cake, anniversary specials, and the chance to win some amazing prizes. We hope to see you there!

We would appreciate it if you would circulate this e-mail to your membership. It would also be great if you would confirm that you have received this e-mail.

Group Training Road Rides.

Group Training Road Rides.

Starting Saturday April 26 and Sunday April 27 we are adding an additional ride time to the weekend schedule. (hoping by then the roads will clean up and the weather be nicer)
There will now be an 8:00am (Group B) ride Saturday and Sunday mornings for the duration of the summer, from the Sheraton parking lot.

This 08:00am ride will be ideal for riders who are new to road riding, junior riders and for those that prefer a lower intensity and shorter distance than might normally occur with the 09:30 group ride.  The 09:30 ride will continue as normal

As with both ride times, there is a “no drop” policy, no one is left behind. Riding in a group is safer than by yourself,  flat tyre and mechanical issues can be fixed within the group. There will be experienced riders with the group to offer tips and advice for road and group riding.

We enjoy coffee and snacks at “Joe’s Cafe’ in the sheraton hotel after the rides.

Helmets are mandatory.

Look forward to seeing you out for the ride.
